Journify is a collaborative journaling experience for parents and kids, aimed at strengthening the parent-child bond, improving communication and well-being for both. Daily prompts are backed by social research. Multiplayer and gamified.
Powered by Generative AI (speech-to-3D) and WebXR (device agnostic).
Parents and children (ages 8-12) can engage in meaningful conversation while co-creating 3D assets that can be saved (and revisited), visually representing their memories in XR.
Project submitted for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Reality Hack, an annual XR hackathon.
Award Received: Winner of AI category; Finalist in the Founders Lab (the hackathon’s startup program)

Simultaneously building an MVP and an investor pitch in three days. Moreover, creating a business plan for an MVP that wasn’t even totally figured out yet.

Once we achieved end-to-end integration, we were able to user test with kids, parents, and family therapists, which led us to making key adjustments, especially in the prompt language.
